Digital Publishing Summit 2026 Poster

Share your expertise at the next Digital Publishing Summit!

The Digital Publishing Summit is EDRLab’s annual conference, focusing on the technological, economic, and social challenges of digital reading. Our goal is to gather pioneers, developers, publishers, and accessibility experts for high-level discussions on open standards and innovation.

In 2026, we invite you to present your work at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, Czech Republic (June 8th–9th, 2026).

We seek impactful presentations, concrete case studies, technical deep dives, or forward-looking market analyses on the following topics:

  • Open Standards and Ecosystems: The evolution of EPUB, Web Publication, OPDS, and their global adoption.
  • Accessibility and Inclusion: Compliance with the EAA (European Accessibility Act), tools and workflows for accessible digital books, Read Aloud, and TTS applications.
  • Protection and Interoperability: Implementation of LCP and the development of WCP (Web Content Protection).
  • Emerging Technologies: The impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on content creation, translation, and production workflows.
  • New Business Models: Strategies based on subscription, digital lending, and the exploitation of new formats (Audiobooks, Webtoons, etc.).
  • User Experience: Innovations in reading applications (Thorium Reader, Readium) and device development.

As a confirmed speaker, you gain unique visibility with an international audience of experts and influencers.

EDRLab covers the following:

  1. Your full entrance ticket for both days of the Summit.
  2. Your accommodation for two nights (June 8th and 9th, 2026) at the conference hotel.

Please note that transportation costs (flights, train, etc.) between your place of residence and Prague remain the speaker’s responsibility.
