Digital Publishing Summit 2027: a new website and two editions, Bologna and Toronto

EDRLab’s Digital Publishing Summit now has its own website, dpubsummit.com, and two editions in 2027. Spring takes place at the Biblioteca Salaborsa in Bologna on June 8-9. Fall takes place in Toronto on October 21-22, the first edition held in North America.

Both editions gather publishers, librarians, developers and accessibility specialists around open standards, interoperability and accessible digital reading. All talks are recorded and published on EDRLab’s YouTube channel.

Other events and gatherings related to our industry will take place during the same week in each of these cities to help you make the most of your travel.

A new website for two editions

The website covers both editions. It hosts the call for proposals, the four sponsorship packages, ticket information, practical information for each host city and the archive of recorded talks.

The archive holds the 79 recordings made since 2022, from Madrid in 2022, the online edition in 2023, Paris in 2024, Dublin in 2025 and Prague in 2026, and can be filtered by topic and by edition. All archives prior to 2022 are still available on our Youtube channel.

Dates to keep in mind:

• The call for proposals is open until January 17, 2027. Proposals can be sent for Bologna, Toronto or either.
• Tickets go on sale on November 1, 2026.
• Sponsorship packages are open for both editions.
