Bibliopresto is a non-profit organization in Quebec that supports libraries by offering them digital tools and services.

Bibliopresto operates the Pretnumerique.ca platform, created in 2011, and used by the vast majority of public libraries in Quebec and New Brunswick. Bibliopresto also pilots, for the Quebec Ministry of Education, the development and deployment of a digital book platform for all Quebec schools, the Biblius project.

Bibliopresto seeks to support its members by developing various tools for training, promotion and mediation of their books and digital resources.

With an average of 8000 loans per day, Pretnumerique.ca is today one of the main library platforms using the LCP DRM. The platform is based on Cantook Station (De Marque) and has a dedicated mobile reading application based on Readium Mobile. The library catalog can be browsed directly from the application using the OPDS feature supported by both the server platform and the mobile app. Ebooks and audiobooks can also be borrowed and returned directly from the mobile app (and from Thorium Reader by the way). Because user support is going down as the use of the LCP DRM is going up, the deprecation  of the Adobe DRM is expected as soon as recent Canadian e-ink devices are made LCP compliant.
